A small, elite fraternity of high-altitude skiers climb the highest peaks in the world in pure Alpine style, carrying their skis and declining to use supplemental oxygen. At the top of the world, high in the Death Zone, they lock into their skis and challenge the most dangerous slopes in the world—under weather conditions that are as perilous as the thin air, hidden crevasses and 10,000 ft. sheer faces that drop into Nepal and Tibet far below.

Air Karakoram

Using paragliding in the Himalayas like the cable car in the Alps to go have fun, go mountaineering or skiing is the crazy idea of a group of 7 friends who went together to Pakistan to make combos in the Himalayas! The plan is simple, the paraglider allows you to reach the high mountains and from there it only remains to have fun. It is also the way to acclimatize to the altitude to try to fly at more than 8000m of altitude with a paraglide and to try to break the paragliding altitude world record.

Set Your Sights

Toy Soldier Productions spent the 2010/2011 winter exploring the Northwestern United States with some of the best up-and-coming talent in the ski & snowboard world. Each found themselves growing into their style, their terrain, and a mindset laid down with the snowfall. Though differing in their aims, they’ve found themselves on a similar path, brought together by the winter and her storms. “Set Your Sights” chronicles this journey. While mostly shot in Montana, the crew also filmed in Utah, California, Washington, South Dakota, Alaska, Wyoming and Whistler, B.C. Warren Miller's Here, There & Everywhere

For our 67th annual ski and snowboard film, we're revisiting some of Warren's favorite places. We followed Grete Eliassen and Jess McMillan into the Swiss Alps, and Kaylin Richardson and Chris Anthony around Deer Valley to pay homage to Stein Eriksen. We chased JT Holmes, Jonny Moseley and Jeremy Jones around Squaw Valley, and Tyler Ceccanti and Collin Collins across Montana's Glacier Country. From Crested Butte, Kicking Horse and vertical lines in Alaska to pond skimming in Steamboat, these are your winter dreams, set to film. We also managed to dream up few spots Warren himself never dreamed of filming: Olympic snowboard champion Seth Wescott and Rob Kingwill carve sea-to-sky peaks at the end of the earth in Greenland, and the best big air riders in the world takeover Boston's Fenway Park. This year, we went where our legacy — and where the snow —took us. We went Here, There, And Everywhere.

The Tangerine Dream is a film that represents 10 years of broken down trucks, whiskey bottles, wanderlust and the most down and dirty skiing and boarding you have ever seen. This rusty orange story is about the origins of TGR, outlaw athletes and the ragged lifestyle that has kept this posse's dream and way of life alive. The movement is stronger than ever with Nobis accomplishing the impossible in Alaska, the Olenicks taking their park skills to AK, Jeremy Jones straight-lining 50 degree spine walls, Sage fusing style and big mountain and Dana Flahr emerging as a dominate force in s kiing. This vagabond tale will take you through the lifestyle of skiing and the passion that continues to change the face of the sport. Take a ride in the orange truck that started it all on a rowdy road trip through India, Turkey, Switzerland, France, Alaska, Aspen, Utah, Montana, California and Jackson Hole.

Some call it a tribe mentality, others call it a shared sense of purpose. This film is our definition, written by a diverse team, each with their own ideas, their own forms of expression. "The Collective" is more than a sum of its parts. No matter who you are or where you come from - it feels good to be part of something special.

Warren Miller's No Turning Back

Warren Miller's 2014 film, No Turning Back, pays homage to the 65 years of mountain culture and adventure filmmaking that has lead WME to every end of the winter world. We're taking a legacy that dates back to before skis had edges and mountains had condos and we're running with it to the steepest peaks around the globe and back to the Mom and Pop hills that define skiing and riding. Since he began creating films in 1949, Warren Miller has known that as skiers and riders, there's no need to look back, we have to continuously drive to keep our edge and chase the snow. This year, we prove that not much has changed when it comes to why it is these athletes tilt and turn down mountains and pray for storms. Sheer delight. Passion for Snow traces over 100 years of ski history in the United States with a focus on the many contributions of Dartmouth College and its alumni to the formation, growth and ongoing innovations in all aspects of snowsports. Passion for Snow combines firsthand accounts from early ski pioneers, veterans of the 10th Mountain Division, Olympians, members of the U.S. Ski Hall of Fame and top ski industry and resort executives, who explain how the most remotely located college in the Ivy League helped spawn a $25 billion industry, and continues to shape it today.

James features briefly as an entertainer cum 'fright-a-minute'- aviator. This is a hybrid genre, a semi-dramatized documentary with champion skiers playing themselves.
