Overview
A GoGo 67 is an alluring snapshot of the Beatles-influenced “Pop Yeh Yeh” movement that was exploding throughout Malaysia back in the 60s. Fauziah works days as a shop girl while Joe labors at a stable. When night time comes, the two would dedicate their time practicing with their beat band, Dendang PerinduThis is an activity that Fauziah must keep secret from her father (Ahmad Nisfu), a blustering martinet who loudly objects to the youth music of today with all of its “yeah yeah yeah”-ing.

This production from Covent Garden is set in Stockholm, and not Boston. With Reri Grist (Oscar), Placido Domingo (Gustavus), Katia Ricciarelli (Amelia), Piero Cappucili (Renato), Patricia Payne (? - the booklet or DVD fails to credit the singer) (Ulrica) and Claudio Abbado in the pit: all at their peak, you just simply cannot go wrong when purchasing this DVD. This performance made me realise why I had fallen in love with opera: beautiful (today one should be thankful) and convincing sets and costumes, and fiery conducting and singing from all the above soloists which leaves you breathless. Domingo as the King (not the Governor of Boston) is simply ravishing! He is so convincing and dashing as Gustavus - I think very few tenors nowadays can even attempt such a convincing vocal and dramatic performance.

Xuxa: O Show - Ao Vivo
It is the official record of the "Xuxa Circo" Tour. There were three days of recording for the DVD: Friday, in the open rehearsal, Saturday, in the presentations of 16h and 19h30 (extra show) and Sunday, at 17h, on: April 22, 23 and 24 in the city of São Paulo at Credicard Hall. The DVD brought the show in full, with some cuts in Xuxa's lines. The song Nosso Rosto was included as an extra on the DVD. The show was also released on VHS.
